Ephesians - Week 7  3:7-13 (A continuation of Week 6)

This week will look a little different as it is a follow up.

-Is it encouraging or discouraging to try and live out your faith?
Why?

-Is it easy or difficult to get along with other christians? What about christians at South Lakes?

Read Ephesians 3:7-13

-In Vs. 8, Paul refers to himself as "the very least of all the saints". This is Paul recalling his broken past.
How often do we allow ourselves to remember what God has done for us? How does it make you feel that God not only does use us, but WANTS to use us?

- Vs. 11 points out that God always had a perfect plan through Jesus. What do you think about God having that much control and purpose?
Should that change the way we trust Him with both the big and small things?

- Read Vs. 12-13 again. Through Jesus, and Jesus ALONE, we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith.
Is this enough to keep us from losing heart? Why or why not?

-Is Jesus truly enough for every situation? Are there ones where He's not? Or we need something else?

Action:

-Remember that our sin is no different from other people's sin. Jesus' perfect sacrifice is the only thing that kept us from Hell.

-Spend time in prayer: Remember how God saw your sinfulness and still chose you. Thank Him for giving up His son Jesus. Ask God to help you not to look down on others, but rather, see them as people that need Jesus just like you.
